The boys move to Missouri!!

We woke up early Friday morning and hit the road for MISSOURI! Payton & Maddox slept the whole 7 hour car ride...thanks to some little sedatives :) I cuddled in the back with all the boys while Eric drove & played our favorite music.  Our friends Justin, Char & Jason made the trek down in the 95 Geneva towing our moving trailer...we couldn't have asked for better friends.
Poppy welcomed his new roommates with open arms & they were very excited to see their "grampy" (especially Kaiser)!  The boys have adjusted pretty well, Kaiser thinks he is such an adult being able to walk around everywhere off of his leash! The boys are LOVING their leashes & their walks up and down Grandpa's long windy & hilly road.  Kaiser couldn't make it all the way up and had trouble stopping himself when trying to gallop back down the hill! They all love Grandpa's deck and staring out at all the trees and animals surrounding them -- However, their favorite thing is Grandpa & Ria feeding them ALL the leftovers!! Something tells me they may gain a few pounds down there.

We all enjoyed the weekend and nice weather boating and eating delicious food -- we got to introduce them to BLT's -- Bacon, LOBSTER & tomatoe sandwiches from Captain Ron's!!  It was a nice weekend and we thank you guys for helping us move and taking the long drive down for us!

Monday I had to depart from my love :( I originally told him that I wasn't going to cry since I had shed so many tears the past week -- and of course....waterworks started when I had to say good bye to him.  I have no idea how I am going to survive without him -- I will now have to make all my own meals, drive myself to and from work, be a sober driver, find my way around everywhere, do my own laundry and have no doggies :(  But... we already have scheduled weekends together and we will treasure those times!! Countdown till I see him again is 20 DAYS!!!!

Doggies first road trip all together...but they're missing their sister :(

The boys....drugged up!! They were so well behaved :)

I cuddled in back with Kaiser Bum while the boys watched daddy drive!

THE SLIDESHOW...enjoy:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwsQfWloUUs

What a journey, What a last 24 hours, What a last 10 years.  As we lay here on the blow up mattress, so kindly brought by the BEST neighbors we could ask for, we can't help but look back at all the memories and great times we've shared here.  So many people have passed through our door and shared a laugh with us in what we have called our home for a large portion of our life.  So many people have come and placed memories in our hearts and minds that we can't help but tear up trying to remember them all.  We have been blessed by so much and are thankful for each person and memory that we have; and leave this place hoping it continues to provide whomever lives here the same joys we have experienced.
So were all packed up, the pilot is ready, the dogs are anxious and we are filled with emotions that i can't begin to explain.  It's scary walking out into a place where we don't know what tomorrow will bring.  It's thrilling looking towards the future and where we see ourselves next.  There's some happiness in knowing that we are doing something that we have set our hearts on.  It's sad, this is our home, with our dogs, and this is the last night we will rest our heads here for, at the least, many years and possibly ever.
Every time we try and recall a story or think of not being here tears come to our eyes, not sad tears just tears that come from our heart from all of the love we feel for this place and all of love that has been shared here.  This is the place that we raised our 4 dogs, even though they can be crazy and loud sometimes, we love them with all our hearts and i often wonder what they may be thinking.  Our dogs have only known this house as theirs and now we are changing their world too and hoping they embrace it as we have.
There are so many people that we could thank or name that have helped to make this house a home.  So many times we have taken for granted the people and things we have in our life that making this decision has put a lot of that into perspective.  Never did we think that we would shed a tear leaving this house and here we are writing a novel and needing a bucket to catch these drops streaking down our face.  Never did we think we would miss this home and here we are dreading the morning when we have to walk out for one last time.  We're trying to savor each last noise and tick that this house makes.
But soon this chapter of our journey must end and soon this note shall too.  We leave this home in pursuit of our dreams, to try and forge a new path that will one day lead us to a new journey.  We leave this home with a heart filled with love to a place that has watched us turn into the people we are today.  This house will always be apart of our life, apart of our heart and forever a part of our memory.

YEP...howling beagles! Thank you to all our neighbors that LOVED them & put up with their crazy ways for so long!

The doggies last day all together in their house

All we wanted was a picture of all of them together on their last day at home...

We will treasure these pictures forever

We each wrote on our wall in the basement

Just about 10 years

We attempted a picture with all of us in front of our house for the first & last time...

Couldn't be more perfect!

THE best neighbors saying good bye to their favorite dogs! They watched them for us for many years & always bought them treats and gave them lots of love! We will all miss The Clanton's & couldn't thank you enough for everything.

The boys looking our their favorite window to say good bye

Reminiscing & sharing tears as we say good bye to Waterway

Kaiser left his foot print on our sidewalk right before we drove away

Our very last night on the mattress brought by our neighbors. We cried, reflected and talked about our next journey...waterway court will surely be missed.
